I also have revisited rooms that had decent lighting, just for them to be pitch black and vents would bust open, but no enemies. I had a few enemies pop out of a common safe area on the medical deck several times. I tried testing it out by entering and exiting rooms over and over within a sector of the ship, and sure enough, shit can get spooky and/or hostile real quick even in the “safe areas”. Another thing I love is the addition of the intensity director. The original is great, but this one improves on the world and gameplay so much more. Other than that, I think this Dead Space is the new and improved way to enjoy the first game. It was weird, but it passed for the most part when I was away from a certain area. I am on chapter 8 at the moment, and my only complaint so far is the first frame lag/stutter I got on chapter 7. Everything is rememberable as I knew it with added things that make sense to the game, it’s lore, and universe. Any who, the remake is pretty damn great, and even though I am a veteran of the original, this one is throwing me for a loop in a good way.

I love all the movies, comics, books, and games. I am a Dead Space fanatic since the reveal of the original game.
